Captain Smart has called on the spirits of Ghana’s leaders to spiritually put to book, any leader that steals from the nation.

TV and radio presenter, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, who is a leading member of the #FixTheCountry picketing has invoked the spirit of Ghana’s ancestors to grease the revolution Ghanaian youth are calling for.

At the Independence Square Wednesday, August 4, 2021, Captain Smart poured libation with two bottles of gin, calling the spirits of some of Ghana’s former presidents and kings to champion the revolution.

Whilst calling for the vision of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and heart of J.A. Kufuor, he prayed for the boldness of J.J. Rawlings, not forgetting Otumfuo Osei Tutu I and Ga Mantse, King Tackie Tawiah I, the warrior traits of Yaa Asantewaa as well as departed heroes and heroines of the country to come and support the agenda, and put on track any thief that intends to dry the nation’s coffers. 

He asked that the life of any leader who intends and steals the sweat of the ordinary citizens be taken by the river gods of their land.

The #FixTheCountry protest was a registration undertaken by some Ghanaians to spell their displeasure over state of affairs, calling for the overthrow of the 1992 Constitution.
